Oh my goodness, it's been a while. A month at least! Yikes!
Well first off, for those of you who read the last post, I assume you're waiting for this...
HARRY POTTER IS HERE!!!!!!!!! That's right! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One arrived in theaters last Friday and I saw it at 12:01am (more like 12:16am, but you get the idea) with my little sister and tons of sorority sisters. It was FANTASTIC! Review time! I'd like to start by commending the filmmakers for really following the book in this film. It was wonderfully adapted and by far the best of the seven films released to date. Warning, though. Bring at least one tissue. Trust me. You'll need it. Anyway, I thought the film was fantastic, even if it did have a few... awkward moments. But I guess that's natural. After all, I don't think Daniel Radcliffe is that great of an actor. Everyone else is wonderful, but the dude playing the hero? Well... he's just... he's awkward for lack of a better word. I can't explain it. Oh well. Great movie. Seen it twice. Going to see it again tomorrow most likely. That's all.
For those of you in the area of Fayetteville, AR, the FIJI fraternity at the University of Arkansas is putting on the annual caroling competition called Carol of the Greeks in which sororities compete by performing one Christmas carol for the audience. If you're not busy on December 1 at 7pm, drop by the University of Arkansas' Union (Verizon) Ballroom and see my sorority! We're gonna rock it!
