Long Time, No... Blog?

Yes, it's been a long time. I don't have many readers so I guess it's not too big of a deal, but still... I feel bad.
So here's an update.
We're halfway through the semester and I've been sick three times, dropped a class (not really worth noting, but there it is), and am on the verge of yet another breakdown. This semester (excuse my language) sucks balls. I hate it. I don't like my classes, with the except of Foods 1, I don't like MOST of my instructors, and I HATE the fact that I have FIVE group projects... five... in four different classes.
As of right now, I want to shoot someone, but I also really don't think that going to jail would make this semester better so I'll refrain from doing so.
Anyway, to make matters worse, my Facebook account got deactivated because my mom decided not to come to me to fix something; something that I literally could have fixed in under five minutes. Now, however, with Facebook's shitty response time, it's taking two weeks (almost). TWO WEEKS. I use Facebook to keep in touch with the newer girls in the sorority whose numbers I don't yet have. I also use it for school groups, likes those in the FIVE group projects I have. Grr. Thanks, really.
Sorry. I hate to vent, but I really don't see why she couldn't have simply said "fix this" to me when I saw her a day later. Or at least I assume it was a day later. She didn't tell me what happened. I hate to figure it out for myself.
Meh. Oh well. I'll live. On the bright side, we have just over a month until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One comes out in theaters!!! Speaking of...
I was at the theater over the weekend and before the film, there was an extremely exciting trailer for the aforementioned film. So, of course, being the avid fan that I am, I and some of the people I was with decided to ask when tickets go on sale. Perfectly normal, right? Apparently not. Here is the conversation:
Friend 1: Hey, we were wondering when tickets for Harry Potter go on sale.
Worker: Tickets for movies don't usually go on sale until a day or two before. Wednesday or Thursday, but since this one opens Thursday, it'll be Tuesday or Wednesday.
Friend 2: Don't they go on sale really early?
Worker: When it's a big film like Twilight, yeah.
All 5 of us: Sorry? Twilight is bigger than Harry Potter?
Worker: Yeah, bigger films like Twilight will go on sale a month or so beforehand.

Now at this point, most of us were walking away, still going "but it's HARRY POTTER" with a pause after the first name and even the last for emphasis. "Harry F****** Potter". We kept yelling things like this in the car on the way back, still floored that ANYONE (with the exception of Twi-Hards) could EVER think that Twilight was bigger or better than Harry Potter. It's just unfathomable to us all. I really feel that the theater dropped the ball when they hired this dude because I'm pretty sure he was working during the last HP premiere I went to there (number 6) so he obviously knows how it all works with HP. But seriously? Just the sheer... stupidity, if that's the right word, astounds me.
Well, that's all. Thought you'd appreciate that little story. Talk to ya later.
Stay random.
