Deep in my heart...

This is a post devoted to Alpha Delta Pi and especially the ladies of the Delta Delta chapter. I try not to get mushy on blogs and things of that nature, but I wanted to say how proud I am of how well my sisters did during Formal Recruitment last week. We got some amazing new girls (known as Alphas) and they even did something for US, the members, the other day. Some Alphas got together and did what's called "chalking the walk", which means they gathered up some sidewalk chalk and wrote all over the campus sidewalk saying things like "I love ADPi", "Alphas love Deltas", etc.

Side note: Our 'pledges' are referred to as Alphas and our members are Deltas. Alums are Pis. Alpha means beginning, Delta means change and Pi means forever, which is how long you'll be a Pi member of Alpha Delta Pi.

Anyway, we really did have an awesome recruitment and while my voice is still not completely back to normal and my right knee is numb, I still have a blast. Thank you ladies for making my last recruitment memorable and fun.

Pi Love and Loyally,
A sister

OH MY GOSH!!!!

Just a short post this time. I'm in a sorority and we're going through the process of practicing for Fall Recruitment. Contrary to what you may have heard, this whole process is kind of a blast and I can't wait for Recruitment to actually begin, but I would like to inform you of my stupid patellor tendinitis. It hurts and it's getting worse, but I am practicing just like everyone else. I am proud of this fact because I know not everyone is working as hard as they should be. We're tired, we're stressed, but I know come Monday, we're going to be PUMPED!!!! Can't wait for our new sisters! That is all.
